TRAINING
IPAF Accredited
We're an International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)
accredited training centre. We can provide operator training courses for
the IPAF Powered Access License (PAL card) which is required by the Health and
Safety Executive as proof of satisfactory training.
A Powered Access Licence Card issued by IPAF carries all the key facts companies
need to know - it tells site management which equipment an operator has been
trained to handle safely and efficiently.
We offer training for all IPAF categories for up to 6 people, over one day
(subject to model), which includes provision of appropriate MEWP's, course
material, certification, registration, powered access license (PAL) card,
operator's safety guide and log book.

Understanding Regulations
 The Product Support Department of
VERSALIFT can help all users
of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS) comply with current legislation and
regulations by offering training courses and seminars on all aspects of PPE,
PUWER and LOLER.
The three most important regulations concerning Mobile Work Platforms under the
Health & Safety at work act are:
• The Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations 1992
(PPE)
• The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)
• The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER)
Our qualified instructors not only ensure that your staff
understand all the relevant regulations, but that they also benefit from
practical hands-on experience.
The training covers all key areas that effect platform users and the law.
Fall Arrest Systems, H&S Compliance Check List and LOLER Certificate of Thorough
Examination are all covered in detail.
Training can be given here on site using our latest facilities or at your own
premises, providing you meet our requirement for classroom and the use of a
suitably certified vehicle for the duration of the course.
